The Compassion Center

The Compassion Center is focused on meeting the physical and spiritual needs of residents in Southeast Baltimore. The building is open to the public and is stocked with clothing, household items, linens and books. The center also has a food pantry and emergency supplies for the homeless. It has been meeting needs in the Fells Point neighborhood for the past 50 years.

Since 2017 Haven City Church has helped the Lutheran Mission Society manage the center. Pastor Josh has spearheaded this project and believes caring for vulnerable people in Southeast Baltimore is imperative to Gospel work.
